Delete your Tamze (Walk Your Fox Spirit) account
You can permanently delete your Tamze account and all data associated with it at any time. This page explains both ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open Tamze
- Go to the Profile tab
- Open Settings
- Tap Delete all my data
- Confirm
Option 2 — By email
If you can’t access the app, email dave@tamze.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete my Tamze account.” We will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (username, email)
- Step history, streaks, badges, and stats
- Cookies (in-app currency) and purchase history records held by Tamze
- Photos and captions (Pawprints) you posted
- Friendships, Town memberships, and nudges
If you lead a Town, leadership passes to a co-leader automatically.
What is kept, and for how long
- Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
- If your account was banned for abuse, we may retain the minimal record needed to keep the ban effective, as permitted by law.
